CF KOLO Receives Grant from the Government of Japan Under the “Kusanone” Program

Japan remains a reliable partner of Ukraine in its fight for peace and a stable future. Despite all challenges, the Japanese government and people continue to support our country, providing vital humanitarian and financial assistance. Thanks to initiatives like the Kusanone program, projects are being implemented that help restore medical infrastructure, support those affected by the war, and introduce modern technologies in healthcare. This support is a meaningful contribution to the collective effort of rebuilding and strengthening Ukraine.

For us at CF KOLO, it is a great honor and joy to once again be part of the Kusanone program. It not only provides an opportunity to realize crucial initiatives but also affirms the consistency of our work and the strategic impact of the projects we prioritize.

The grant signing ceremony was held with the participation of Ambassador Masashi Nakagome.

“On behalf of the CF KOLO team, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the people of Japan for their support through the Kusanone program this year. We deeply appreciate the Japanese government for continuing this program even in the difficult context of wartime,” said Olena Kryvenko, Chair of the Foundation’s Board.

At CF KOLO, we focus on integrating modern technologies and innovations into medical services to improve diagnostics and treatment. Within this partnership, we are concentrating on one of the key regions that hosts and supports those affected by war — the Dnipropetrovsk region. Here, at the Professor Rudnev Multi-Profile Mother and Child Hospital, we are implementing a project to deliver advanced medical equipment.

This initiative is not just a technical upgrade — it is an investment in the health of Ukrainian children who now need the best care possible.

We are deeply grateful to the people and government of Japan and to the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine for their trust, support, and the opportunity to bring meaningful change!
