KOLO Charity Foundation Head of the Board, Olena Kryvenko, participated in the Ukrainian House in Davos, 2023

On January 17, 2023, Olena Kryvenko, KOLO Charity Foundation Head of the Board, took part in the annual international event at the Ukrainian House in Davos, aimed at highlighting the true history of Ukraine and ensuring a bright future for a free nation, for Europe, and for the civilized, democratic world. Over the past six years, the Ukrainian House in Davos has hosted authoritative speakers and moderators: Ukrainian high-ranking officials, senior Western government officials, world-class politicians, humanitarian activists, international business leaders, and, most importantly, inspiring Ukrainians who defend their nation on the front lines and support the country's recovery and revival.

In her speech, Olena Kryvenko recounted the history of the charity foundation, its main areas of work before the war, the transformation processes that occurred after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and the key projects currently aimed at saving lives and further rebuilding our state. She emphasized the crucial role of close international ties in times of armed conflict. Therefore, she invited all interested potential partners to cooperate within the initiatives and projects of the KOLO Foundation, aimed at developing education, medicine, and supporting veterans.

At the end of her speech, Olena quoted Martin Luther King: "It's not always you can do great things but always you can do small things in a great way" and urged all concerned individuals: "...I suggest you do small things in a great way and then grow them into great things in a great way. It is necessary to understand that the victory of Ukraine will not be the end; it will only be the beginning, and it is necessary to build this bridge to find your partner because we are not running only a short sprint; we will run a full marathon and we need to be ready for this work..."

Participation in such a world-class event is an extraordinary opportunity to be a voice representing Ukraine, which can draw public attention to important issues and needs of the humanitarian sector at the state level during the war. We need the support of the international community like never before! Through this speech, we want to invite all interested parties to join the initiatives of the KOLO Foundation to resist the enemy and rebuild Ukraine together.
